I MUST have one of these. . . Yes., I must.

Fancy Pigeon = pink-necked green pigeon (Treron vernans)

"If all pigeons looked like this, I might not consider them flying rats!
This is the pink-necked green pigeon (Treron vernans) and it's honestly not photoshopped.
They're found in Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, subtropical or tropical mangrove forests, and subtropical or tropical moist montane forests.

Well this makes it obvious that more guns makes us all safer.

Did you know that Nutella gets as hard as a brick when in a cold cupboard on an exterior wall (about 45-50 deg with outside temp -10). It can be dangerous when trying to extract it from the jar, chunks fly out like shrapnel.
$100 to $350.00 for a Pigeon at a show I went to this weekend. Jacobin Pigeons, but other breeds are less expensive. Breeders from all over the USA were at this specialty show = Fantails, Modena (like my Simon) and Jacobins.
I ALMOST came home with a Jacobin... fell in love with several, they are so gentle and so very beautiful, but too delicate to live in my Aviary with the others.
These guys take it very serious. One fellow from S Dakota (a heart surgeon) has a Pigeon loft 40' by 80' with many hundreds of Jacobin Pigeons. I only have 3.

Keep in mind that these have been caged for 3 days so are a bit messy.
The Fantails are rather odd and I don't care for them.
The Modena (Like Simon) are very husky stocky birds with an attitude, but have very beautiful feather patterns.
The Jacobins have a beautiful arrangement of feathers that form a large Puff around the sides of the head. They don't fly too well, but can.

Fantail - Yes that's how they normally look. How do they fly?

Leaf picker-upper, Silly but works slick.

FOUR years ago, I bought this at a thrift store for $2. It looked so silly I never even tried it. BUT a few days ago I had a gigantic pile of leaves to stuff in bags and just for kicks I tried it. I WAS AMAZED at how good it worked and so very simple and easy... and exceedingly fast.
...It's called a "Garden Grabber", by Grabber International, 15 Lesmill Rd #8, Don Mills Onterio Canada. Model M3B-2T3
.
BTW it works good on mulched leaves too...
OR
use it to feed a Chipper/Shredder... super fast.
