I bought those little springy hair clippy thingies for hair, that look like miniature rakes that clamp together like a set of spring-loaded teeth. Before throwing dirty socks in laundry bin, I clamp the socks together (On the heel side), wash/dry, and 99.8% of the time they are still together when done. Then I toss them in the clean socks drawer still clipped together. SOOOooooo easy. NOTE- Some brands of clips have sharper teeth than others and work better.
So now instead of missing one sock, they vanish in pairs. Much better. Martha Stewart often calls me for advice for new ideas for her show. Next week- - Napkin folding.
