Spot laughs at her own jokes

Spot Dove is always happy. She's always having fun (video, turn sound up a bit). Everything is exciting to her. She is very adventurous, always getting into mischief, then she laughs. Shelled sunflower seeds are her favorite treat, kinda like dessert. (Video Spot on hand in front of fireplace)

Right now though she is sound asleep laying on her side on the F5 thru F8 keys. Can you hear her snoring?

    Planet - It's so easy to tell when she's happy, she laughs a lot, and she's always laughing. She has a very distinctive vocabulary of maybe a dozen or more "statements", and each of those has inflections for a slightly different meaning. We communicate very well.

    jgigi - Yes, she is so sweet and so loving and affectionate. She never leaves my side, except sometimes she goes exploring.

    freya - She keeps me Sooo entertained all day every day.

    Bareheart - isn't that sweet?the kiss? Of course I have to bribe her with food, but she is always willing to kiss. I love your voice by the way... It's very sweet too. Spot got your kiss, she listened.

    Ha ha Spot probably pecked me on the speakers ... but that is OK. Yes, I'm learning to use this audio ... and having fun with it. And happy that you and Spot did not bolt away from my voice :)

    And truly, love this video of you two. Bribe, and kiss and all.

    Carolenablue - Yes she does and she lets me know, she likes to be petted and cuddled.

    Bare - It's nice hearing your voice, very soothing.

    Recon - She's irresistible to everyone who has met her... she's a real charmer.

    Lisa... guess what??? I bet that's it.... It's sweet little Martha dog who wasn't ready to leave us yet and she's come back to us as a Dove, how appropriate. They were both tiny and pure white in body and soul. Just like Martha, Spot is so gentle, loving, sweet, cute with big dark eyes, charming, clever, devious, not to mention adventurous, daring, proud, confident, bold, so very happy, affectionate, thoughtful, entertaining, and a fantastic loyal and devoted companion. I'll see if Spot will beg and roll over for food like Martha did... or to shiver and quake while successfully begging a sandwich off of two little old ladies sitting on a park bench. If so, Spot really is Martha (with wings, how appropriate).

    Spot did the most clever and devious thing yesterday to foil her husband Ringo. I laughed so hard I nearly clapped my hands (she was on my hand), and she was oh so sweet and innocent about it (who me?). I'll put it in a blog soon (clever little bird).

    Also someday... I MUST do a blog about sweet little Martha. Nobody on the planet could resist her sweet innocent way of looking at you with those big brown eyes. I have some Marvelous pictures of her in some ridiculous and absurd activities, and also pictures as a puppy the size of a teacup. (RIP Martha).

    I have had animals for many years and I firmly believe that they do revisit us in other forms. My first dog had a very unusual fur marking on her shoulder, and my current dog is a completely different breed and has the exact same marking on his shoulder. Coincidence? Possibly. But I do think it's a sign that our beloved pets continue to live on in some way.
    Your videos of Spot always make my finches react! Even they enjoy Spot's laugh.

    I can't wait to hear what Spot did to Ringo that she thought was so funny! Martha was the best dog ever. I'd love to see pictures of her. She was my best friend growing up. I should have a box of pictures of her in clothes posing with my stuffed animals somewhere. lol.
