Amazing software that can translate animal sounds into English words. What are they saying?

I was experimenting with Voice Recognition software trying to "train" it to my voice when all of a sudden it started wildly typing text on my screen that I had not said. Confused, until I realized it was picking up and translating the voice of my 8 yr old Modena Pigeon, Simon, who was in the room with me cooing with vigor .
Here’s what Simon said.

This is what it actually typed
"and move and moo moo moo move the Moon and moo move and move move moo in and move and move move the move the move and move move move and moo move moon if in to move moon to moo moo
move the the move and move the Moon and the move and the the Moon and the Moon and the Moon and the Moon and move moo moo and move in and…" etc. - - - .
Now if I could just get him to express his thoughts a little more clearly…

This is the same fellow who likes to ride around on my dashboard (Video below).

  1. I love how much of your life these birds are. They are just wonderful. :)

  2. Simon has a link demonstrating that mice actually chirp and sing like birds. Human just can't hear them unless the octave is brought down. It's pretty cool. If only I could get him off the idea of writing a score for mice and whales.

  3. geminai - It may seem like it but... they are ever present. Actually I feel guilty because I'm afraid they will feel ignored, I'm not around that much, too busy to pay attention to them. Especially the Doves. They get so excited and hopeful when they see me... run to their door expecting attention... but I walk right by. I can almost hear them being disappointed. The Pigeons peck at the door and want to be let in the house...I always feel SOOoooo very guilty. That's why I often take the birds with me on my errands and when visiting. To them, it's an exciting adventure.

Blackmoon - Your friend Simon I presume?, not my Pigeon Simon...(this could get confusing). Maybe he could get the mice to line up and sing a chorus? That would be impressive.

  4. Yes - my friend ;) I will ask him to orchestrate a mouse production and see what he says. He will probably read this without my asking . . . He's my mostest favoritest stalker.

  5. I copied this from his facebook page, so you can hear for yourself. Simon Vogt If you click this link you can hear the sound of a mouse singing shifted down 4 octaves
