Picture Perfect - Favourites - OPERA (not).

One of my favorite things is when she sings in the car..
Except when she sings OPERA....... .and SOOooooo loud and enthusiastically.

This is Truffles, a 3 year old Polish Buff Lace, singing "La Traviata", by Verdi (Her favorite).

At Stop signs, people stare and ask... "Why does she sing off-key so badly?
".... but then sometimes people applaud and cry out "Bravo... Bravo...., Encore".

  1. Whether she sings off key, or croaks it out, she looks like she is having some fun and she likes the sound of he voice.

Is she the same breed as Schmoo? Do you still have Schmoo? You know I wrote an ode to Schmoo. It's in the right rail of my blog.

  2. Mistress - Croaks it out is the right description... She sounds like she's becoming roadkill.
Shmoo is a 2 yr old "Silkie", both breeds have a "Hat" on but totally different feathers. Truffles is so people-oriented, she is a pest. A 3 yr old boy was here and picked her up with wings and feet poking in all directions, she didn't care, she just kept singing opera.

  3. Oh my! I'm not sure what I'd think if I saw and heard Truffles singing in your car, driving along the road somewhere!! Oh, I know!!! I'd say "There's Bert and his singing Polish Buff Lace, Truffles!!!"
Great shot, Bert. She looks in her element there!

  8. what's that?
    I don't know her.
    But I need her DNA.
She can help me in my surreal operas.
I know at last I can't come along with her.
We have too many things in common.
For example that Al Ataivart is my favorite too.
    Is there writing...

  11. Bert, she sounds wonderful...of course, I don't mean her voice. I've never heard it! She's a real people pleaser. Regardless of the breed, you have some unique birds and they are all wonderful. I'm glad they have you.
