Then there was the time my neighbor Magic Mary, brought over this "treat" for us. So she proudly held out the plate, I glanced at it and said ..."Oh, dead mice"... needless to say, she was not pleased. It was really hard to eat them though, they tasted like hamster.
I can see why you might be reminded of mice. What are they, stuffed peppers?
ReplyDeleteDonna, I 'm not sure, I was afraid to ask.
ReplyDeleteThey look like eggplant or zucchini with melted cheese on them, but yes... at least two look like mice.
ReplyDeletethey certainly do resemble dead mice eh. they appear to me as Hot peppers..I bet they are peppers cut in halves.
ReplyDeleteis there a picture you are all seeing that I am not *really puzzled*
ReplyDeleteThey do look a little like Mice - LOL ... I love stuffed bell peppers, but I don't know what that stuff is in the picture you have.
ReplyDeleteAnd thanks to Tint's magical remedy (see comments on next post) I now see your "mice" lol
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure what they were, but when you are about to take a bite... That's when they look mostly like dead mice. I think they were Spam bits and mashed potatoes with a few other things thrown in ??
ReplyDeletegood lord your Spam has a tail? :-o
ReplyDeleteYummy stuffed peppers!!!!!! Magic Mary can bring me food any day! Yummy! She is an awesome cook! And she makes low fat, low carb nothing!! Full fat - full flavor!!!
ReplyDeleteDebo - Yes, I guess sometimes they forget to cut the tail off those little Spammy creatures.
ReplyDeleteLisa - Yes, she is an outstanding cook and she always makes far too much food so we benefit from her excesses. I'd probably be 30 pounds lighter if it wasn't for her. What good luck, Ladonna across the street is ALSO an excellent cook and deliveres goodies from time to time (She's got the best buns in town).
