Picture Perfect - Holy Macro - a Deadly Delight

All my Macro's were a dead give-a-way, so I had to crop the macro.  The clue is in the title.

Scroll down to see entire macro photo.
(Taken with my old trusty pocket cam, Canon A720, not my new Nikon).

These little guys were Very tiny ants, less than 1/8", but they were hungry.
To illuminate the scene, I used (bad choice) a LED light bar.  I guess the freeloaders didn't like the treat because they didn't come back (Terro).

Picture Perfect - Favourites - OPERA (not).

One of my favorite things is when she sings in the car..
Except when she sings OPERA....... .and SOOooooo loud and enthusiastically.

This is Truffles, a 3 year old Polish Buff Lace, singing "La Traviata", by Verdi (Her favorite).

At Stop signs, people stare and ask... "Why does she sing off-key so badly?
".... but then sometimes people applaud and cry out "Bravo... Bravo...., Encore".

The alarm went off, I searched the house... then the alarm again...

It went off several times (very loud) intermittently with no regular interval.  Difficult to find the source because I never knew when it would go off again.  I spent half an hour trying to find it... then.....(scroll down).

(Down further)

Simon was stomping on the "Test" button of the Carbon Monoxide detector I put on the floor to bring to the pole barn on the next trip. I think he enjoyed irritating me?

Tuna uses remote Telekinesis to provide sustenance.

Yes, it works, but it only works 3 times per day... and then in insufficient quantities. Tuna has mastered the art of Telekinesis.... sometimes standing patiently focused for long periods before he is successful. I sure hope he keeps his mind focused only on food.
(Short Video at bottom to verify his success)

Actually, this device dispenses 1/4 cup increments up to 2 full cups... 1 or 2 or 3 times per day... can set it for times desired. This feeder is the result of Tuna's propensity to overindulge . . . therefore becomes a fat cat.

Short Video --  Tuna is never far away when it's feeding time.

This is an odd pair to be sleeping together

 . . .  . . . . . . . . . .
Simon Pigeon loves to cuddle and fall asleep on my chest when I'm laying back in the recliner while we watch TV together. But... Tuna Cat also loves to sleep on me too... so..they frequently sleep together.

My Security cameras captured a killer in action.

I often capture unexpected things (1 min video below) on my security cameras.  . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
The cams are to monitor the status of the Chickens (need food? Water? temperature? eggs? everyone there?). A possum can be seen... a frequent but harmless visitor.

About noon a neighborhood cat appears, tries to kill my brown Polish lace, then creeps into the brush, hesitates, then pounces on one of the twin sister black chicks (Silikies) and kills her while another quickly pops out of the brush.  50 minutes later the cat leaves and a bit later only the one black Silkie can be seen.   I didn't miss the killed Silkie until bedtime. That very cat has killed 5 of my birds over the last 5 years (I have videos). I cannot find the cats owner...nobody knows.

Second time in a few weeks, Tornado and 80+ Mph winds thru my farm

The pic is of the first tornado... my neighbors on both sides had serious damage, I escaped with almost no damage, Now today an even worse storm in same area, Everyone lost trees, cars, tractors, roofs, shingles, etc. So Tomorrow We're again going north to the farm to check for damage.
Picture is of my old farmhouse I sold on the property next to my farm, right after the last tornado a few weeks ago. It got hit hard. The wind blew many of the window out, this one the frame and all, notice the glass is not broken, thousands of trees down. Everyone had some damage (I only lost one large tree, pole barn and cabin ok). Another neighbor lost his beautiful 100 year old barn and other buildings, scattered over 1/4 mile.
Both times they mentioned on TV news the extensive damage in the city where my farm is. So Tomorrow I'll head  up N with a chainsaw, then I'll know if my pole barn and cabin are still there ? ?  Pics to follow.
